A Shibori dyed handspun, handwoven soft cotton stole, in an earthy Green, woven on handlooms by the weavers supported by Women Weave, Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh.
WomenWeave, a registered Charitable Trust based in Maheshwar, MP, has supported and developed the role of women in handloom weaving since 2002. They work towards overcoming the financial vulnerability of women who weave on handlooms and work towards making handloom a profitable, fulfilling, sustainable, dignified income-earning and life-improving activity.
Earnings also go towards further training the women in other forms of fabric arts.
Each piece is unique with its beautiful details. As with everything handmade, its little imperfections, add to its unique charm.
