These are stories in Pattachitra, hand painted by The Collective Craft in Orissa, on handcrafted wall clocks.
Pattachitra was a story telling art, done on scrolls. The storytellers used them as a visual aids as they travelled villages narrating mythological stories. Today the stories and scrolls are not in demand. Artists now paint on home decor items to keep the art alive. 
The clocks are made from quality wood, treated and polished to finish. These are a limited edition.
Battery operated, using simple AA batteries.  As with everything handmade, the little imperfections, add to the unique charm of the clock.
