Radha Krishna's eternal love has been every artists delight. Indian Art would be so incomplete without these love stories. Here we have a moment of innocence when Krishna is seen pulling a thorn off Radha's tender foot during one of their secret rendezvous in the forest. There are no witnesses except Krishna's trusted bovine and the creatures of the forest.
This Saanjhi was done by Mohan Verma. Mohan ji is a prominent Saanjhi artist whose family has practiced the art for over 400 years. While he travels across the world exhibiting his art or conducting workshops, he stays in Mathura, where the art originates and works out of the studio at his home.
The work does not come framed but it does include the fuschia gold handmade paper backing.
