Stitching memories
Memories of our summer holidays would be marred with dreary holiday homework, if it was not for our precious visits to Nani’s, feeding Monty the parrot spicy green chillies & spending hours embroidering the little pockets on our dresses.
Long afternoons spent with shiny needles, colours & colours of threads & embroidery pattern books stuffed in Mackintosh Chocolate Tins. The little embroidered hankies were later tucked into our school dress pockets long after holidays were over.
Relive these beautiful memories with kerchiefs, embroidered with love by hands that have done far more than they can remember now. And no matter how long each stitch takes, the stubborn fingers forget all the aches & pains to keep making these lovely pieces to keep their memories from fading away.
