Naturally Beautiful

Shakil bhai loves textures he finds in nature. Sometimes, he spots stories in cement walls or residual wax. He narrates them in his art. As a 6th generation Batik artist in Mundra, Kutch, Shakil bhai learnt from his father. He was creating traditional Batik designs with wood blocks at the young age of 15.

Today, he experiments in contemporary designs & abstract shapes using age old techniques. .

The results are breath taking.
